Sunset's Power

People spend a lifetime searching for happiness, looking for peace.

They chase idle dreams,addictions, religions,even other people,

Black-and-white always looks modern, 

whatever that word means.

Round and round.

There's songs, sounds you bring to us
You pin both the wings on us
I hear, I see you sing for us
You go tie a string around us

Different places|same feelings

Today is in the past.

The sun sets in a cloud
And is not seen.
Beauty, that spoke aloud,
Addresses now only the remembering ear.
The heart begins here
To feed on what has been.
